Weakley County is located in scenic West Tennessee just a short drive from Nashville, Memphis and Paducah, KY. Established in 1823, the county has five cities including Dresden, Gleason, Greenfield, Martin and Sharon. The county seat is Dresden and the largest city is Martin, home of the University of Tennessee at Martin.

For the traveling soul, Tennessee serves as a central hub. More than 75% of the United States can be reached in a days drive from Tennessee.  The main corridors in Weakley County are Tennessee Highway 22 and U.S. Highway 45 East.

Weakley County is a short 45 minute drive to Jackson, two hour drive to Memphis and two and a half hour drive to Nashville.
